FROM THE ARTIST

Every step in the ceramic formation process exemplifies creation and transformation. A fragile and weak form of raw clay withstands the intense heat of a firing only to come out stronger and more stable on the other side. I find many parallels between the ceramic process and the nature of life. We start off small and vulnerable, with the elements of the world coming together to mold us and push us into the next stage in our life cycle.

My logo is a reflection of the interconnected nature of all that exists; the O and S overlapping to form an infinity symbol - a nod to the notion that nothing is being able to exist without everything else that exists with it.
